MTV VMA’s: Miley Cyrus and Beyoncé Queens Of The Night – MTV VMA’s: Miley Cyrus e Beyoncé Regine Della Serata

Wow, the MTV Video Music Awards were just over the top this year and, again, it was mostly thanks to Miley Cyrus (I just can’t love her more than this). Let me start with a little mark: Thank you Katy Perry for bringing back the denim dress reminding us all about the time Queen Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were still together and this world was a better place, thanks from the bottom of my heart, that’s part of the reason why I absolutely love you. Now, as I was saying, last year was memorable for Miley’s twerking but, unlike the rest of the world who was probably expecting another outrageous scene from the ex Disney jewel, I was sure that she was gonna surprise us again. The visibility and popularity she had since that famous duet with Robin Thicke was just perfect for the campaign she launched this year. In accepting the most wanted award of the night, Video Of The Year, for her records breaker Wreking Ball, she sent a guy named Jesse on stage one of the too many homeless teens in California and America. His speech was just one of the most beautiful things the show has ever seen, according to me, he deeply touched every person with a heart, especially Miley and me that almost sinked in our tears. With these words he accepted the moonman for Miley: “I’ve survived in shelters all over…I’ve cleaned your hotel rooms, been an extra in your movies and in your life… Though I may have been invisible to you in the streets, I have a lot of the same dreams that brought many of you here tonight.” He concluded with a quote from John Lennon and Yoko Ono  “A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” Let’s all join the cause (go on Miley’s Facebook page for the details). Aaaand another one of the best things the show has ever seen was Beyonce’s performance. She was honored with the highest award, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award given to her by Jay Z , despite the rumors that want them on the edge of a divorce and their adorable kid Blue Ivy. We knew she was gifting us with a performance, what we didn’t know was that it would have been 16 minutes of pure divine perfection. Thats all you can really say about Bey Bey: PERFECTION!

Now see the complete list of winners:
